Field-Based Coordination for Federated Learning
Date:
I presented our paper “Field-Based Coordination for Federated Learning” in the main track of COORDINATION 2024, held as part of the DisCoTec federated conference.
The talk introduced a field-based approach to federated learning in which coordination abstractions are used to organize distributed devices, form spatially informed learning structures, and address data heterogeneity without relying exclusively on a rigid centralized architecture.
Presenting this work to the COORDINATION community was an opportunity to connect federated learning with research on coordination models, distributed systems, and collective adaptive behaviour.
